Sam Hutchinson runs b small publishing along with his colleague Catherine Bruzzone. Both members of the b small team love nothing more than cutting, colouring and sticking their way through fascinating facts and knowledgeable non-fiction topics including nature, history, art, science and foreign language learning. Sarah Dennis completed a degree in illustration at the University of The West of England. Her work combines traditional scherenschnitte (paper cutting) with collage. Her previous work includes illustrations for The Year We Fell Apart by Emily Martin, Natural Cookbook and various advertising campaigns as well as several children's books for b small publishing.
