Sergio Ruzzier has written and illustrated many picture books. Born in Milan, Italy, he has been living in Brooklyn, New York since 1995. He was a recipient of the 2011 Sendak Fellowship.

His work has received accolades from Parents' Choice, American Illustration, the Society of Illustrators, Communication Arts, the Society of Publication Designers, and more. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.
